Description
The Fireye SP-32-NG-ND-1.0 is a SureFire II natural draught gas pilot designed to ignite oil- and gas-fired main burners in power generation, refinery, and petrochemical applications. Suitable for intermittent light-off or continuous pilot operation, it provides 17–34 kW at 20–80 kPa, with a 1.0 m (3.28 ft) insertion length and 32 mm air tube diameter.
Its protected ignition zone and orifice-stabilizer assembly maintain a stable flame for repeatable burner light-off. An adjustable sleeve controls combustion air intake, while stainless steel construction withstands demanding operating temperatures. The pilot uses a 1/2" BSP female gas connection and supports separately ordered Fireye HESI or HTI ignition equipment with rods up to 16 mm OD.
Frequently Asked Questions
What applications is the Fireye SP-32-NG-ND-1.0 suitable for?
It is designed to ignite oil- and gas-fired main burners in power generation, refinery, and petrochemical applications, supporting both intermittent and continuous pilot operation.
How does the Fireye SP-32-NG-ND-1.0 regulate combustion air?
A sliding adjustment sleeve controls the combustion air entering through the pilot's air inlets. A locking thumb screw secures the selected position.
What are the operating temperature limits of the Fireye SP-32-NG-ND-1.0?
The maximum continuous operating temperature is 300°C, with a 500°C limit at the orifice-stabilizer and the ends of the gas and air tubes.
