Fireye EP260 Flame Programmer Module
$1,479.00
The Fireye EP260 is a plug-in programmer module for the FLAME-MONITOR Burner Management Control System on E110 controls. It runs the burner sequence from prepurge through flame supervision. Its recycle-running interlock restarts the cycle if a limit opens during firing, avoiding a needless lockout.
Description
- Flame Supervision: Monitors flame and shuts off fuel within 4 seconds.
- Recycle Interlock: Restarts cycle when running limit trips mid-firing.
- Adjustable Purge: Sets prepurge timing to 30 seconds.
- History Storage: Logs burner cycles, hours, and lockouts.
- Modbus Communication: Links to E500 interface for remote monitoring.

Description
The Fireye EP260 is a plug-in module that controls the firing sequence of a FLAME-MONITOR burner. It verifies the low fire position and fuel valve status at startup, maintaining ignition until the low fire start interlock is closed. A recycle 3-P interlock allows for a fresh cycle instead of locking out when a limit is tripped during firing.
Onboard non-volatile memory retains cycle counts, run hours, and lockout records through a power loss, and the code 35 board allows that history to be reset to zero when the module moves to a new burner. Snap-in mounting to the EB700 chassis and an ED510 display that clips to the front cover keep installation and status checks direct.
Frequently Asked Questions
What system is the Fireye EP260 used with?
The Fireye EP260 is used with the FLAME-MONITOR Burner Management Control System, part number E110, installed in the EB700 chassis programmer slot.
Does the Fireye EP260 recycle or lock out on a running interlock trip?
The Fireye EP260 has a recycle running interlock circuit (3/P). If the 3-P circuit opens during the firing cycle, the programmer recycles rather than locking out.
What is the flame failure response time of the Fireye EP260?
The Fireye EP260 has a flame failure response time of 4 seconds, de-energizing all fuel valve circuits within that period following a loss of flame signal.
