The V-3000-1 Pneumatic Valve Actuator converts a controller's air signal into precise plug travel, modulating steam or water flow to match system demand. Spring and fluid forces balance against diaphragm pressure to hold the plug steady under signal, and a drop in control air returns it to the normal position.
A molded synthetic rubber diaphragm keeps effective area constant across the stroke, giving the actuator repeatable response, while a die cast aluminum housing stands up to mechanical-room service. Control air enters through a 1/8" NPT barbed fitting for 5/32" O.D. polytubing, with 30 PSIG maximum pressure and a -20 to 150°F operating range.
