Description
The Fireye 95DSS2-1 detects flame using infrared and ultraviolet sensors working together, a pairing suited to multi-fuel applications. Its integrated flame relay carries ON thresholds adjustable from 5 to 100 and OFF thresholds from 0 to 95, delivering a switched contact to the burner management system without a separate amplifier.
A cast aluminum housing with gray polyester powder coat finish mates to a 1" NPT or 1" BSP sight pipe connection and terminates in a 12-pin quarter-turn quick-disconnect. Power comes from a 24 Vdc supply drawing 0.35A, and an eight-character alphanumeric LED display with four pushbutton keys handles setpoint entry.
Frequently Asked Questions
What fuels is the 95DSS2-1 suited to?
Its paired infrared and ultraviolet sensors make it best suited to multi-fuel applications.
Does this scanner require a separate flame amplifier?
No. The internal flame relay carries adjustable ON and OFF thresholds and performs the switching, eliminating the remote flame amplifier.
What power and connection does the 95DSS2-1 need?
It runs on 24 Vdc at 0.35A, 8.5VA, wired through the 12-pin quarter-turn quick-disconnect.
