The McDonnell & Miller FS5-S-1 is a general-purpose liquid flow switch designed for applications requiring low flow rate sensitivity. Its in-line configuration eliminates the need for a pipe tee, simplifying installation. Constructed with a stainless steel body, carbon components, and Buna N elastomers, it is suitable for monitoring water or water and petroleum-based compounds. The switch features a single pole, double throw (SPDT) snap switch, allowing for reliable operation, and includes a sensitivity adjusting screw for easy flow adjustment. It is available in a 1″ NPT size, with optional BSPT threads, and operates within a temperature range of 32°F (0°C) to 225°F (107°C). The maximum operating pressure is 150 psi (10.5 kg/cm²).
