The Allen-Bradley 25B-D010N104 Adjustable Frequency AC Drive is a versatile and cost-effective solution for motor control in various industrial applications, from standalone operation to simple system integration. It features a modular design with a detachable control module, facilitating easy field configuration and installation. An embedded Ethernet/IP port allows for remote control, configuration, and access to application data, enhancing its functionality over conventional drives.

This 3-phase, 480 Volts AC drive delivers 10.5 Amps of output current and has a power rating of 5.0 Horsepower. It includes built-in protective features such as automatic BUS voltage regulation, fast-acting current limiting, and a Safe Torque-Off feature, ensuring quick response in safety-related stops and protection of internal components and personnel. Additionally, it boasts enhanced power loss ride-through time and a removable metal oxide varistor for ground fault protection in ungrounded conditions.

The 25B-D010N104 supports multiple control methods, including Volt per Hertz, sensorless vector control, closed-loop velocity vector control, and permanent magnet motor control. It operates with a Pulse Width Modulated signal with a programmable carrier frequency range of 2 to 16 kilohertz and offers a selectable output voltage from 0 to the rated motor voltage. It achieves a frequency performance range of +/- 0.5% of the base speed across a 100:1 speed range without an encoder, with an operational efficiency of 97.5%. The drive provides two programmable acceleration/deceleration times in 0.1-second increments up to 60 seconds and a normal duty overload rating of 110% of the output rating for 60 seconds and 150% for 3 seconds. It includes I/O features like 2 analog inputs, seven digital inputs, 1 analog output, and 2 relay outputs for additional control.

Communication is facilitated through an embedded Ethernet/IP port and an integral RS-485 serial interface for multi-drop configuration. The drive is housed in a Frame D, open-type enclosure, and operates within a temperature range of -20 to 50 degrees Celsius (-4 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit) without derating. It holds ATEX, KCC, KUV, CE, RCM, and cUL-us certifications, weighs approximately 1.6 kilograms, and has mounting dimensions of 87 x 180 x 172 millimeters.

The PowerFlex 525 is equipped with an embedded keypad for local operations such as Start/Stop, Jog, Forward/Reverse commands, and parameter configuration. It also features an LCD readout for monitoring the drive’s current status and parameter menus.
