The 1769-OG16 is an Allen Bradley compact TTL output module. It has 16 outputs and the module’s on and off-state output depends on the voltage it is running at. At 0-0.4 volts DC, the on-state output is guaranteed, and at 4.5-5.5 volts DC, the off-state output is guaranteed.
Neither output state is guaranteed when the 1769-OG16 is operating between 0.4-4.5 volts DC. The module’s minimum load current is 0.15 milliamps and its maximum current per point is 24 milliamps.
This small output module (it measures 4.7 x 1.4 x 3.4 in.) mounts onto DIN rails, panel mounts, and other 1769 modules. Because it has no enclosure, it is more susceptible to debris, static, and UV from sunlight and other sources than enclosed modules. Keep the 1769-OG16 away from these harmful substances, and for further safety measures do not connect more than 2 wires to any terminal or use a DC or I/O cable that is more than 30 feet long.
