The Allen Bradley 1769-L30ERM is one version a CompactLogix 5370 controller that can run up to 32 tasks at a time.

This module is equipped with a user memory of 1 MB and an optional nonvolatile 1784-SD1 card with 1 GB of additional memory. The controller’s current draw at 5 Volts DC and at 24 Volts DC are 500 mA and 225 mA, respectively. The maximum power dissipation of the 1769-L30ERM is 4.5 W. This module is 2.17 inches wide and can be mounted on a panel or DIN rail.
The Allen-Bradley 1769-L30ERM can send and receive messages on multiple networks and control any distributed Input or output. This module supports a temporary connection from your computer via a USB connection. The Ethernet/IP network provides a full suite of control services, configuration features, and data collection systems. The 1769-L30ERM supports Quality of Service (QoS) technology that allows controllers to prioritize Ethernet/IP network traffic.

The 1769-L30ERM is an Allen-Bradley product that belongs to the Programmable Automation Controller (PAC) product family. This product in particular is a 1769 CompactLogix controller that features modular features and integrated with motion control capability over Ethernet network.

This controller features a user memory that amounts to 1MB and an integrated 1Gb non-volatile memory that ships with the controller provided by the 1784-SD1 memory card.

The module does not come with an integrated Input and Output channels however, supports a larger number of local 1769 Compact I/O modules wherein up to Eight (8) modules m be stalled. It also supports a higher number of expansion I/O banks, specifically, up to Three (3) I/O banks .
For Version 21.XX and later, use Studio 5000 Logix Designer. Either instances, the controller’s user programming may be programmed with IEC 61131-3 programming languages such as Relay Ladder, Sequential Function Chart (SFC), Statement List (STL) and Function Block Diagram (FBD).
