Allen Bradley 1769 ARM

The Allen Bradley Address Reserve I/O Module can be used with both CompactLogix and MicroLogix Processors. It has a current draw of 60 mA at 5.1V and a heat dissipation max of .3 Watts.

 

The Allen-Bradley 1769-ARM module reserves and replaces module slots. It begins to operate after it creates an I/O configuration and a user program that removes all further configuration to that module. Program references for the slot position that the 1769-ARM module occupies must not use another module’s parameters. The 1769-ARM has a 1-word input data file but no output and no configuration data files.

The 1769-ARM’s current draw is 60 mA at 5.1 V. It has a maximum heat dissipation of 0.3W and a power supply distance rating of 8. It weighs approximately 0.62 lb and its approximate dimensions are 118 x 35 x 87 mm. It can become 138 mm high when mounted with tabs. The module can be DIN rail or panel mounted. Its compatible power supplies are 1769-PA2, 1769-PB2, 1769-PA4, 1769-PB4 and the module has an open style enclosure type rating.

The 1769-ARM module has a 32-140 °F operational temperature. Its storage temperature is -40 to 185° F and it has a 5-95% relative humidity. It comes with a maximum peak-to-peak operating vibration of 5g at 10-500 Hz and 2g relay operation. It has a 30G panel-mounted operating shock (20G DIN-rail-mounted) and a 7.5 G panel-mounted operating shock (5G DIN-rail mounted). It also has a 40G panel-mounted (30G DIN-rail-mounted) non-operating shock. The 1769-ARM’s radiated and conducted emissions are classified to EN 50081-2 Class A.
