The Allen Bradley 1756-PSCA2XT is a Redundant Power Supply Chassis Adapter. It has operating temperatures between -25 and 70 degrees Celsius (-13 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit) and nonoperating temperatures of -40 to 85 degrees Celsius (-40 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit). The maximum surrounding air temperature of this power supply is 70 degrees Celsius (158 degrees Fahrenheit), and its relative humidity is based on IEC 60068-2-30 at 5% to 95%, non condensing.
The operating vibration of this power supply is 2 G at 10 to 500 Hertz, with operating and nonoperating shocks of 30 and 50 G, respectively. Its Current capacity at 1.2 Volts DC is 1.5 A; at 3.3 Volts DC, the Current capacity is 4 A, at 5.1 Volts DC it is 15 A, and at 24 Volts DC, this module has a current capacity of 2.8 A. The ESD immunity of this module is 6 kV contact discharges and 8 kV air discharges.
Connecting or disconnecting this module’s cable while the backplane power source is live can cause an electric arc to occur. This can result in an explosion or excessive wear on the contacts of the module and its mating connector. Contacts that are not maintained may cause electrical resistance which can affect the operation of the module.
