The Allen Bradley 1756-OW16IK module is a conformally-coated isolated contact module for Allen Bradley ControlLogix 5580 programmable controllers. The 1756-OW16IK module has 16 normally open individually isolated outputs. The pilot duty is the C300/R150 pilot duty. The operating voltage ranges are from 5 to 125 Volts DC and 10 to 240 Volts AC. The expected contact life is 300 kilohertz resistive and 100 kilohertz inductive. The 1756-OW16IK module can be used with removable terminal blocks, including the 1756-TBCH and 1756-TBS6H removable terminal blocks. One slot in the rack is required for module installation. The operating temperature range for the 1756-OW16IK module is from 0 to 60 degrees Celsius. The continuous isolation voltage rating is 250 Volts. The module can be installed when the chassis power is applied. However, it is not advisable to do so because an electric arc can occur during the module insertion or removal process which could lead to explosions in hazardous locations.
