The Allen Bradley 1756-L81ES controller is an Allen Bradley GuardLogix 5580 safety controller. It can perform 31 standard tasks and 1 safety task. It has an intuitive diagnostic display that provides a textual description of the module’s status.
With the use of this controller, Safety Instrumentation Level (SIL) 2 is achieved. This module supports mix of standard ControlLogix and Safety I/O and may also implement topologies that a standard ControlLogix can support.
