The Watlow Silver Series EM is a rugged, touchscreen operator interface terminal (OIT) designed to enhance industrial process and machine control applications. Available in three display sizes—4.3-inch, 7-inch, and 10-inch diagonals—the Silver Series EM offers flexibility to suit various installation requirements.
These OITs feature both serial and Ethernet communications, enabling seamless integration with multiple controllers. Additional functionalities include e-mail messaging, a universal serial bus (USB host), data logging capabilities, flexible password security, and support for multiple languages. The compact design, characterized by a small bezel size and a depth of approximately two inches, facilitates easy mounting in confined spaces.
Programming the Silver Series EM is streamlined through the EasyBuilder Pro software, which offers a user-friendly interface and a comprehensive array of built-in screen objects. Users can access extensive graphics libraries, import custom graphics, and incorporate elements such as numeric displays, entry fields, analog meters, bar graphs, and trend graphs with minimal effort. Screen objects are highly customizable, and users have the option to create libraries of personalized objects for repeated use. The software supports offline and online simulation, expediting development by simplifying testing and fine-tuning processes.
