he Watlow SD31 is a microprocessor-based, single-display PID temperature controller designed for precise thermal management in various applications. This controller supports up to two outputs, configurable for functions such as heat, cool, timer, retransmit, or alarm, with each output independently set for PID or On-Off control. Standard features include an IP65/NEMA 4X front panel rating, CE compliance, and agency approvals from UL, CUL, CSA, and NSF. Additional functionalities encompass autotuning for heat and cool outputs, ramp to set point for gradual system warm-up, and automatic/manual capability with bumpless transfer.
Advanced options include Modbus EIA-485 serial communications for PC integration and INFOSENSE™ technology, enhancing sensor accuracy by at least 50%. The user-definable menu system simplifies operation, while the controller’s non-volatile memory ensures retention of user settings.
