The Watlow L11AX60B is a FIREROD® cartridge heater engineered for efficient and uniform heating in various industrial applications. Featuring a 5/8-inch (0.625 inches or 1.58 cm) diameter and an 11-inch (27.9 cm) sheath length, this heater operates at 480 volts with a power output of 4000 watts, resulting in a watt density of 300 W/in².
The heater’s sheath is constructed from Alloy 800, known for its high-temperature strength and resistance to oxidation and corrosion, allowing for part temperatures up to 1400°F (760°C). Internally, a nickel-chromium resistance wire is precisely centered and surrounded by compacted magnesium oxide insulation, ensuring efficient heat transfer and dielectric strength.
