The Watlow F4S is a 1/4 DIN single-channel ramping temperature controller designed for precise temperature regulation in demanding applications such as environmental chambers, furnaces, and ovens. This controller supports up to 256 steps across 40 programmable profiles, allowing for complex ramp and soak sequences. It features a high-definition four-line LCD display for straightforward programming and configuration, as well as a 16-bit microprocessor to ensure accurate and reliable performance. The F4S accepts universal input types, enhancing its versatility, and includes four digital event inputs for remote control of functions like process start, pause, or termination. Additionally, it provides eight segment-programmable event outputs, three of which are assignable for compressor and boost heat/cool control. A real-time clock is included to enable profiles to start at specific times. Standard communications include EIA-232 and EIA-485 with MODBUS RTU protocol.
