The Watlow F4P is a 1/4 DIN temperature/process controller designed to meet a wide range of industrial processing needs. It features a high-definition four-line LCD interface display, providing clear visibility of process parameters. The controller includes an information key that simplifies setup and operation, reducing the potential for errors. Equipped with a 16-bit microprocessor, the F4P ensures precise control and high performance. It accepts universal inputs, including thermocouples, RTDs, and process inputs, offering flexibility across various applications. The controller supports up to three universal analog inputs and includes four digital inputs that can modify controller operation or display predefined messages. Advanced control features such as cascade, ratio, differential, and retransmit options are available, enhancing its versatility. Standard features include serial communications via EIA 232 and EIA 485 with Modbus® RTU protocol, and two alarms programmable as process, deviation, or rate. The F4P is suitable for applications like semiconductor manufacturing equipment, plastics processing, packaging equipment, and industrial process control.
