The Watlow EZ-ZONE® RM Limit Module (RML) is a flexible, multi-function controller designed to provide advanced thermal system management by integrating over/under temperature limit control with other control functionalities. This modular system is capable of configuring 4 to 12 safety limit loops per module, with the capacity to support up to 192 limit loops in a single system, making it highly scalable for diverse application requirements. The RML module reduces wiring complexity and enhances system reliability by combining PID control loops with safety limit control in a single package. It offers a wide range of communication options, including Modbus® RTU, EtherNet/IP™, Modbus® TCP, DeviceNet™, and PROFIBUS, allowing seamless integration into existing systems. Advanced features include on-board data logging, programmable timers, counters, and math and logic functions. The module also supports mobile configuration via a removable secure digital (SD) flash card.
