Watlow EZ-ZONE RM High-Density Control Module Controllers

The Watlow EZ-ZONE® RM High-Density Control Module (RMH) is a DIN-rail mountable controller designed to streamline thermal system management by integrating multiple control loops within a compact footprint. This module can function as a standalone controller or as part of the broader Watlow Ecosystem Solution, seamlessly interfacing with other EZ-ZONE RM modules, PM PLUS® controllers, and ASPYRE® AT power controllers. Configuration and system integration are facilitated through Watlow’s COMPOSER® software, enabling efficient function block programming.

The RMH module is highly flexible and scalable, supporting configurations ranging from 1 to 152 control loops and limits, and up to 256 monitoring points. It also offers additional controller functions, including counters, timers, math, and logic operations, allowing for a tailored control solution that meets specific application requirements.

Key features of the EZ-ZONE RMH include PID control loops, over/under temperature limit control loops, 10 and 15 ampere power output/heater driver options, on-board data logging, current measurement inputs, sequencer startup and control functions, programmable timers and counters, programmable math and logic options, and multiple communication protocol choices. The module also supports mobile configuration via a removable secure digital (SD) flash card, enhancing ease of use and adaptability.

By consolidating these functionalities, the EZ-ZONE RMH reduces wiring complexity, minimizes termination costs, and eliminates compatibility issues associated with using discrete components from various manufacturers.
