The Red Lion CSINI8 and CSINV8 are 16-bit analog input modules designed for the Modular Controller Series, facilitating high-density signal measurement for data acquisition applications. The CSINI8 module accepts 0/4-20 mA current inputs, while the CSINV8 module is designed for ±10 V voltage inputs. Both modules feature eight single-ended input channels, allowing for the monitoring of multiple signals simultaneously. Unused inputs can be disabled to increase the overall reading rate, enhancing efficiency in data processing. These modules connect and communicate via a backplane connection to the CSMSTR Modular Controller Series Master, which supports any combination of up to 16 CS series modules, enabling the monitoring of up to 128 signals through a single master unit. The system is configured using Windows-compatible Crimson software, providing an intuitive graphical interface for setup and calibration. The compact design and DIN rail mounting facilitate easy integration into control panels, making the CSINI8 and CSINV8 modules ideal for various industrial data acquisition needs.
