The Partlow MRC 7700 is a microprocessor-based 10-inch circular chart recorder designed to measure, display, record, and control relative humidity and temperature using dry-bulb and wet-bulb temperature inputs. By employing a specialized algorithm, it calculates relative humidity and compensates for barometric pressure changes and temperature differences, enhancing accuracy and efficiency. This method allows the MRC 7700 to function effectively in elevated ambient temperatures and environments that may compromise traditional humidity sensors.
The recorder offers features such as auto transfer, position proportioning output, remote setpoint, remote run/hold, auto/manual operation, and setpoint lock-out. It also includes up to six event outputs, relay outputs or SSR drivers, two alarms per channel, eight profiles with six ramp/soak segments each, and process value retransmission. A security enable mode protects parameters and data from unauthorized changes, and an optional RS-485 communications interface allows for integration with supervisory systems.
The MRC 7700 is suitable for applications requiring precise humidity and temperature control, including ovens, chambers, furnaces, heat treating, food processing, and harsh water environments.
