The Partlow MIC 2000 is a microprocessor-based, single-loop process controller designed to measure, display, and control variables such as temperature, pressure, flow, and level across various industrial applications. Housed in a 1/4 DIN extruded aluminum enclosure, it is suitable for panel mounting and can be surface-mounted using an optional adaptor.
This versatile controller accepts a wide range of inputs, including thermocouples, RTDs, millivolt, volt, and milliamp signals, with automatic linearization and cold junction compensation for thermocouples. It offers multiple control modes such as on-off, time proportioning, current proportioning, and position proportioning, with fully programmable PID parameters to suit different process requirements.
Standard features of the MIC 2000 include an isolated process input, setpoint and output limits, and a 0.56-inch high LED display capable of showing process deviation, setpoint, percent output, and scaling with decimal point positioning. Optional features enhance its functionality, offering up to three relay outputs, three types of alarms (process, deviation, and band), remote setpoint input, electric motor modulation, and RS-485 communications for integration into broader control systems. The controller operates on either 115 VAC or 230 VAC power at 50/60 Hz, providing flexibility for various installation environments.
