The Honeywell RA890F1296 Protectorelay Control uses the rectification principle for electronic flame detection and serves as a primary control for industrial and commercial single or dual fuel burners. It offers solid-state, electronic flame safeguard protection, replacing the RA890E in most applications and mounting on the same Q270A1024 Subbase. The control unit recycles if the flame signal is lost during operation and locks out if the pilot fails to establish. It includes a safe-start check to prevent startup if a flame-simulating failure is detected in the flame detector circuit. Built-in protection against ignition crossover in flame rod systems ensures safety. Additional features include SPDT alarm contacts, solid-state circuitry, and a strong thermoplastic mounting base. The unit mounts and removes easily using captive mounting screws. Rated for 208 VAC, the RA890F1296 is designed for robust and reliable flame detection in demanding burner applications.
