The Fluke 725Ex is an intrinsically safe multifunction process calibrator designed for use in explosion-endangered areas. It measures and sources various process parameters, including mA, volts, temperature (RTDs and thermocouples), frequency, and ohms. When combined with any of the eight Fluke 750PEx Pressure Modules (sold separately), it can also measure pressure up to 3,000 psi (200 bar), enabling calibration of pressure transmitters and I/P devices.
The 725Ex features a split display that allows simultaneous viewing of input and output values, facilitating efficient transmitter calibration. For valve and I/P tests, it can source mA while measuring pressure. Additional functionalities include auto-stepping and auto-ramping for remote testing, as well as 25% stepping for quick linearity tests. Its simple, menu-free controls and memory functions streamline operation and setup, while the rugged design ensures durability in field environments.
This calibrator meets intrinsic safety standards, including I.S. Class I, Division 1 Groups B-D, 171°C compliance, making it suitable for use in areas where explosive gases may be present.
