Description
The Fluke 481 Radiation Survey Meter is a portable and practical means for discovering irradiated goods, equipment, surfaces or environments in industrial settings. Use of the device reassures employees that radiation risks are known, monitored and measured for their protection. If radiation is found, a clear and quantifiable result allows managers to comply with federal guidelines, without overreacting with unnecessary steps that might halt operations, impact productivity or lead to lost revenue.
The Fluke 481 Radiation Survey Meter detects beta, gamma and X-ray radioactivity and provides prompt readings of dose and dose-rate. The rugged meter requires no adjustments and utilizes a simple two button interface. The LCD display includes a 100 element bar graph as well as a 2.5 digital readout that displays the measurement at all times. The 481 is accurate to ±10% of full scale indication—nearly 30% better than comparable meters. The 481 includes auto-zeroing, auto-ranging, and auto-backlight functions.
