The Fireye NXCESO2-30 Oxygen Probe Assembly is designed to measure the oxygen concentration within flue gases, providing critical data to optimize combustion efficiency and reduce emissions in industrial applications. This probe operates effectively within a stack temperature range up to 850°F (454°C) and is equipped with a type K thermocouple for accurate stack temperature measurement. The integrated wide-band lambda sensor ensures rapid response to changes in the air/fuel mixture, with a reaction time of less than 100 milliseconds. For installation, the probe mounts into the stack using the Fireye 35-381-2 mounting flange kit, which includes the necessary flange, gasket, and mounting screws. The NXCESO2-30 communicates via Modbus-RTU protocol and requires a 24VDC power supply, with Fireye cable part number 59-565 recommended for all installations. Additionally, the probe features on-board electronics that monitor ambient temperature and control an integrated cooling fan to maintain internal temperatures between 113°F and 158°F (45°C and 70°C). The oxygen sensor cartridge is designed for easy replacement without removing the probe from the stack, minimizing downtime during maintenance. For detailed installation and operational guidelines, refer to Fireye bulletin NXCESO2-1001.
