The Fireye EPD381 is a programmer module designed for use with the Flame-Monitor Burner Management Control System. This module provides start-up programming, safe start check, and flame monitoring supervision, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of industrial burners. The EPD381 features a built-in display with seven LED indicator lights that annunciate the current operating status and the reason for the last lockout condition. It includes a 15-second purge period and offers selectable Trial for Ignition (TFI) timings of 5 and 10 seconds. The module operates in a recycle mode and does not support modulation control. Additionally, the EPD381 is equipped with an RJ45 connector for interfacing with an optional remote alpha-numeric display (P/N ED510) and two RJ-style connectors for connection to an E500 communication interface. A set of test jacks located on the front of the programmer module provides a 0-10 VDC output to indicate flame signal strength. It’s important to note that the EPD381 has been classified as obsolete by Fireye; for new installations or replacements, refer to the current Flame-Monitor EP series programmer modules.
