The Fireye EPD161 Programmer Module is a component of the Flame-Monitor™ Burner Management Control System, designed to provide start-up programming, safe-start check, and flame monitoring supervision for industrial burner applications. It ensures open damper (high purge) pre-purge, proof of low fire position, and fuel valve end switch safety checks. The EPD161 features a 30-second purge time, a 10-second Pilot Trial for Ignition (PTFI), and a 30-second Main Trial for Ignition (MTFI). In the event of a flame failure, it de-energizes all fuel valve circuits within four seconds to maintain safety.
