The Fireye 95UVS2E-1CEX InSight I Flame Scanner is a microprocessor-based device designed for the detection and monitoring of ultraviolet (UV) emissions from industrial combustion flames. Equipped with a solid-state UV sensor, this scanner provides reliable flame supervision in various burner applications. It features an internal flame relay with adjustable ON/OFF thresholds, eliminating the need for an external flame amplifier. The scanner operates on a 24 VDC power supply and includes electronic self-checking, removing the requirement for a mechanical shutter. An eight-character alphanumeric LED display and a four-button keypad allow users to view operating parameters and configure setpoints directly on the device. Notably, as of February 5, 2020, the 95UVS2E-1CEX model has been designated as obsolete, with the recommended replacement being the 95UVS4-1CEX.
