The Fireye 72DUVS4 is an ultraviolet (UV) self-check amplifier designed for integration with Fireye’s burner management controls, specifically the D Series. This amplifier enhances system safety by continuously monitoring the flame detection system for component failures during each burner firing cycle. It is compatible with Fireye’s 45UV5 series self-checking UV flame scanners, including models 45UV5-1007, 45UV5-1008, and 45UV5-1009.

The 72DUVS4 amplifier offers a flame failure response time (FFRT) ranging from 2 to 4 seconds, ensuring prompt detection and response to flame loss, thereby maintaining burner safety and operational integrity. Its plug-in design allows for straightforward installation and replacement within the burner management system.

This amplifier is suitable for use in various industrial applications requiring reliable flame detection and safety monitoring. When paired with the appropriate UV flame scanner, it provides continuous self-checking capabilities, making it ideal for burners that operate continuously and require ongoing safety assurance.

Fireye Series D30 Burner Management Controls provide ignition and main flame failure protection for automatically ignited oil, gas and combination fuel burners. In conjunction with limit-operating controls and interlock devices it automatically programs, with solid state timing logic, the burner/ blower motor, ignition, and main fuel valve(s). The control cycles automatically when the operating control closes and following a power interruption, but must be manually reset following a safety shutdown.
