The Fireye 70D40 is a Flame Safeguard Control designed for industrial burner management systems, ensuring safe startup, monitoring, and shutdown of burners in commercial and industrial combustion applications. This high-reliability control module is used for detecting flame presence, controlling fuel flow, and preventing unsafe burner operation.
This control module is compatible with plug-in amplifier modules, allowing selection among ultraviolet (UV), repetitive self-check UV, AUTOCHECK infrared (IR), or rectification methods of flame detection. It includes a safe start check feature that prevents burner operation if a flame signal (real or simulated) is detected at start-up, enhancing safety. The 70D40 provides three single-pole double-throw (SPDT) and one single-pole normally open (SPNO) load switches for controlling external loads and initiating starting circuits.
