The SoftTouch series incorporates a patented characterized insert within the ball, providing high rangeability and equal percentage flow characteristics, effectively combining the performance of globe valves with the economy of ball valves. This design makes the ST1-3-15 ideal for automatic temperature control applications involving hot or chilled water. The valve is compatible with various electric actuators, including on/off, 3-wire floating, and proportional control models, available in both spring return and non-spring return styles.
