The Auburn SKU CS12965, also referred to as part number IC-9-2, is designed for use with combustion systems. These igniters and flame sensors serve as ignition sources and facilitate flame detection during burner operations. The center electrodes are made from Auburn-developed alloys, ensuring resistance to both sparking erosion and chemical corrosion, even under extreme operating temperatures. Depending on the application, the center wires are crafted from Nickel, Chromel, Inconel, or Kanthal. The hexagon shape allows for easy installation and removal using a socket wrench, with various hex sizes and thread patterns available to suit different requirements.
