The Asco EF8342C1 solenoid valve is an explosion proof, direct-operated, slide disc valve designed to control double-acting pneumatic actuators. It features a brass body and is available in single or dual solenoid configurations with a pipe size range of 1/4 to 3/8 inches. The valve operates without requiring a minimum pressure and is equipped with a solenoid-integrated pilot and slide disc mechanism, ensuring a tight shut-off through spring-loaded sliding resilients. It supports a differential pressure range from 0 to 9 bar and handles fluids with a maximum viscosity of 65 cSt. The valve materials include brass and stainless steel for body and seat components, NBR for sealing, and reinforced PTFE for the seat. It operates within a temperature range of -20 to +70°C and complies with all relevant EC Directives. The valve’s electrical characteristics include a coil insulation class of F and various voltage options.
