The ABB ACS5000 series is designed for high-power applications in industries such as chemical, oil and gas, power generation, and mining. With power ratings from 5 MW to 36 MW and voltages from 6.0 kV to 6.9 kV, it reliably controls induction and synchronous motors for applications like compressors, pumps, fans, and grinding mills. Featuring water-cooling, direct torque control (DTC), a fuseless design, and advanced arc-resistant safety features, the ACS5000 ensures high efficiency, reliability, and safety.
